Zwan
Welcome to zwanmusic.com, the long-running fan archive for Zwan — the short-lived but unforgettable band assembled by Billy Corgan after the Smashing Pumpkins. This is where fans gathered photos, reviews, setlists and bootleg artwork from the 2001–2003 club tours.
About the band
Zwan came together in 2001 around Billy Corgan (vocals, guitar) and Jimmy Chamberlin (drums), joined by guitarists Matt Sweeney (Chavez, Skunk) and David Pajo (Slint, Tortoise), with Paz Lenchantin (A Perfect Circle) on bass. After a run of raw, joyful club shows the group recorded its only studio album, Mary Star of the Sea (2003), before disbanding later that year. The live shows — loud, bright and built around long jam codas — are what this site set out to document.
